Jamaica Diaspora Taskforce Action Network (JDTAN)

The mission of the Jamaica Diaspora Taskforce Action Network (JDTAN) is to mobilize the global Jamaican diaspora’s knowledge, professional expertise, and lived experience to support sustainable national development in Jamaica. JDTAN advances collaboration through education, health and wellness, youth development, agriculture, technology, governance, and community empowerment—transforming intellectual and professional capital into practical action that strengthens institutions, builds local capacity, and improves lives.

JDTAN envisions a Jamaica strengthened by meaningful diaspora partnership—where global Jamaican expertise is actively aligned with local leadership, institutions, and communities to drive inclusive, accountable, and long-term development. We envision a connected global network of empowered diaspora professionals contributing consistently to Jamaica’s progress, not only through financial support but through shared knowledge, mentorship, innovation, and collective responsibility for future generations.
